Bluebirds are making a comeback in Massachusetts. About forty years ago, it was rare to see one. In fact, some of your parents and grandparents probably never saw one until they were adults. In the 1980s there was an effort to conserve these beautiful little birds.
We’ll talk about bluebirds, their wild habitat and diet, and about how we can help them to thrive and be happy right in our own backyards. Each participant will build a bluebird house to bring home and put in the garden. Everything is included in the workshop.
This workshop is intended for families. Priced per child, parents participate for free. This workshop is suitable for children 8 and up.
