Cold Process Soapmaking I

In this intimate, hands-on class, we’ll take a deep dive into the art and science of natural soap-making. You will learn everything you need to know to make your own cold process soap at home. Each participant will make a one pound batch of my best-selling Plain Jane soap. It has myriad uses around the house – not just for bathing or washing your hands. We use this soap for laundering, dishes, and household clean up, too.
Each participant will leave class with a batch of soap (equal to eight bars), a soap mold to keep and re-use, a recipe and instructions to recreate the batch at home, and a list of resources for ingredients and supplies. Masks and latex-free gloves will be provided.
Please bring: Safety goggles.
