This is an opportunity for PDC program graduates to put their education to use. During these two weeks we will work on various projects that incorporate what you learned at your PDC. These may include large or small scale building projects, terraforming projects, planting, rainwater collection and storage, and a variety of projects that demonstrate appropriate technology.
Our focus for this APSI will be implementing the Zone 1 design. We will be creating beds and walkways, putting in fence to exclude ravenous wildlife, augmenting and improving the existing hedgerow, creating a rockery garden, creating terraces to deal with a steep slope, setting up rainwater catchment for the gardens.
At the end of this intensive, you will be more than ready to begin your Permaculture practice as a Designer and Teacher.
Meals are included for resident students, except those you choose to take on your own off-campus. Saturdays and Sundays are free for exploring the local area, hiking the trails, organizing and participating in various activities, or for chilling together on the farm.
