Calendar for Renaissance Farms Permaculture
Courses and Events at Renaissance Farms Permaculture
Come spend two weeks in the rolling hills of central Massachusetts this autumn for a Permaculture Design course offered in the traditional two-week intensive format. 72 hours of theory, further enhanced with hands-on practicum on our 300 acre permaculture farm site. Consider joining us for our early spring intensive advanced permaculture practicum.
We will use a variety of texts, including Bill Mollison’s Permaculture Design Manual. In addition, we will spend part of each day engaged in practical skill building. These will include the use of various tools (like a bunyip level), building and operating appropriate technologies, land forming, and natural building techniques.
At the end of the course, you will have a better understanding of both the theory and application of permaculture principles. Completion of the course earns you an internationally recognized certificate.
THIS IS A SPECIAL OFF-SEASON PDC MEANT TO ACCOMMODATE FARMERS AND FARM WORKERS. However, ALL are welcome.
Lunch is included for all students, except those you choose to take on your own off-campus. Saturdays and Sundays are practicum days where we will work on small projects.
