Herbal Medicine Making: Insect Bite Prevention and Treatment

In this hands-on workshop, we will be talking about insect bite prevention and treatment. Students will be making a natural insect repellent spray and a soothing salve to use on insect bites.
Each student will leave class with a a 4 oz. spray bottle of repellent and a 4oz. jar of salve, recipes and instructions to recreate the batches at home, and a list of resources for ingredients and supplies. Masks and latex-free gloves will be provided.
Please bring: Safety goggles.
Nissa is a family and community herbalist with many years experience and an education encompassing formal and self study. The plants are always teaching and we are always students and never masters.
